This is a quick series test designed to check for Nitrates & Nitrites in the your water. Nitrates can occur naturally; however the major sources of nitrates and nitrites in drinking water come from fertilizers, sewage and feedlots. These can be harmful to infants (can cause methemoglobinemia or blue baby syndrone).
This quick series test is designed to provide test results within 2-3 business days from the receipt of the water sample at the lab.
